Scope & Content This collection primarily consists of documents relating to his career as a potato farmer in Hawley, the most interesting being his farm log from 1932-1940, and his dealings with the Minnesota office of the United States Department of Agriculture.
Admin/Biographical History Adolph Bjorndal was a potato farmer who lived and worked around Hawley, Minnesota. According to his correspondence with various agencies around the country he seemed to specialize in growing seed potatoes for other farmers which he would ship out by train to all corners of the United States.
