Scope & Content The collection contains records relating to the Dale Post Office while it was under the direction of Jerome Ulven as postmaster. The records are primarily financial with bank statements and Cash Books. There is also a small amount of financial records that have to do with the Dale Store.
Admin/Biographical History Jerome Ulven was both the postmaster of Dale Minnesota as well as the proprietor of the Dale Store, which was the local general store in Dale Minnesota. He was at the Dale post office during War Rationing time, and was in charge of the post office in 1971 when the office was closed. Jerome Ulven Passed away in 1984.
