Scope & Content The collection consists of two notebooks that contain meeting minutes for the club. They span the years 1943 to 1955 when in 1955 the club split into two.
Admin/Biographical History The Clearview Homemakers Club was a group of women who would get together as a group to learn cooking lessons from each other. For example one meeting may be devoted to “poultry” or “meatless meals.” The group expanded from 10 people to over twenty by 1955. That is when the group decided to split into two groups to make the lessons more manageable.
