Admin/Biographical History CP Brown was the president of the Moorhead Rod and Gun Club. In 1935 he began the process of getting support for a project to build a dam on the Buffalo River, which is a tributary of the Red River. The project eventually culminated in the creation of Buffalo River State Park which consisted of the building of three dams and a beautification Spot.” The project was okayed in 1937.
