|Scope & Content||Contains four ledger books from the Federation of Women's Club's of Clay County. Two of them contain meeting minutes, one book of financial records, and one scrapbook that covers the 1930's.|
The Federation of Women's Clubs of Clay County was federated in May of 1926. It was a federation of nine women's clubs which consisted of: The Woman's Literary League of Barnesville, Child Psychology, the Woman's and Music Club of Moorhead, Profit and Pleasure Clubs of Dilworth, Study Club of Ulen, Woman's Club of Comstock, and the Woman's study Club of both Glyndon and Hawley.
The clubs would all gather once a year for an Annual Convention somewhere in Clay County where there would be music to entertain the women who attended. There would also be educational speakers, and each club would give a report on their activities. The federation discontinued their county wide meetings in 1942.
