Scope & Content The collection consists of the personal papers of Warren Dodd. It contains both business and personal correspondence, papers relating to his political interests in reforming the chattel mortgage process, and a large amount of his time and expense reports from his time as a banker.
Admin/Biographical History Warren Dodds was a Moorhead banker who at one time served as the secretary treasurer for the Moorhead Production Credit Association. He was very active in the politics of his career at many times writing to local politicians in support of casues like the reformation of the process of securing chattel mortgage loans to make it permissable to only have one person witness the deal instead of two.

He was also engaged with the community on a civic level as he served as an air warden for the city of Moorhead during WW2 and played a role in the city wide “blackout drill that took place in 1943.
