Scope & Content The Bobby Vee Collection contains copies of material that was loaned by Booby Vee for a 1989 exhibit at the Clay County Historical Society. It includes a photo of a magazine cover, the schedule for a tour of the United Kingdom, and a photo of Bobby Vee and his band.
Admin/Biographical History Bobby Vee is a nationally known musician from the Fargo-Moorhead area. Through out his career he has placed 38 songs on the Billboard top 100 chart and had multiple gold records. He made his national debut at the age of 15 in Moorhead, MN while filling in for Buddy Holly after his famous plane crash.
