Scope & Content The collection primarily consists of photographs. The document Martin Kuppich's time working as a butcher, playing for the Fargo-Moorhead Twins Baseball team, and his home life and hobbies. Non-photographic items include awards from Kuppich's bowling league and a small collection of newspaper clippings on his career as a baseball player and as a butcher.
Admin/Biographical History Martin Kuppich was born in 1904 and one of the original members of the Fargo-Moorhead Twins who he played for through the 1920's In 1927 Kuppich went into business with John Knapp to start a butcher shop, Twin City Meat Market. He worked as a butcher there until the 1960's when he retired. Kuppich died in 1982 in Moorhead and was burried in Fargo.
